The tour takes us off the beaten path of mass tourism, while showcasing some of the hidden treasures in the area. Main points of the tour are looking at beautiful settings, enjoying great food from each region, and tasting some of the greatest wines and olive oils in the area. The tour is mostly inclusive, but giving you a few evenings where dinner is not included, so you can enjoy some time on your own as well.

We arelucky in Iceland to be at the right latitude to get to see them often. We have also chosen these dates specifically when there is a new moon for portion, as full moon will impair the viewing of northern lights. We have a schedule but want to also keep the itinerary open at times if we have to move because of cloud cover. Flexibility is important, and sometimes itinerary is subject to change, according to the northern lights forecast. In our experience Hjalteyri is a good place to be for a few nights, because the area allows us the flexibility to move around.
