About This Journey
This exclusive women-only journey traces the sun-drenched coastline and verdant interiors of Croatia, Slovenia and Italy — a part of Europe that rewards those who travel slowly, eat curiously, and drink deeply.
From the gothic spires of Zagreb to the truffle-scented hills of Istria, the shimmering Adriatic islands and the Baroque splendour of Split's Diocletian's Palace, every day is a feast for the senses. You'll dine at Michelin-rated restaurants, hunt for truffles with a family that has done it for generations, sail to hidden coves, and take a train through Europe's largest cave system.
With a maximum of eight guests, a full-time dedicated guide, and exclusively boutique privately owned accommodation, this is the Adriatic as it was meant to be experienced.
Day by Day
Arrive in Zagreb before 14:00 and transfer to your hotel, the 5★ Le Premier Boutique Hotel, ideally located in the heart of the city. After time to settle in, begin your introduction to Croatia's vibrant capital, known for its creative energy, street art, and distinctive cultural scene. In the late afternoon, join a guided "Badass Women of Zagreb" walking tour with local expert Iva, offering a unique and insightful perspective on the city's history and influential figures. As evening falls, enjoy a welcome group dinner at the Michelin-rated Pod Zidom.

History meets wine country on day two. Begin with a visit to Varaždin Castle, a beautifully preserved fortress set within one of the country's most charming baroque towns. Continue to Trakošćan Castle, widely considered the best-preserved castle in Croatia, set against a picturesque lake and forested hills. In the afternoon, travel into the rolling countryside to Vuglec Breg Winery for a guided cellar tour and tasting of regional wines. The evening brings a traditional dinner before an overnight stay at the vineyard's boutique accommodation.

Slovenia takes centre stage — and it does not disappoint. Begin at the iconic Lake Bled, one of Europe's most picturesque settings. Take a traditional boat across the lake to the small island, where you'll visit the historic church set against a backdrop of mountains and emerald water. Continue to Ljubljana, Slovenia's charming capital, often referred to as the "City of Dragons." Enjoy a guided walking tour through its vibrant streets before free time to explore, shop, and dine independently.

Three countries, one extraordinary day. Begin in Slovenia with a visit to Postojna Cave, Europe's largest cave system — enter by underground train before exploring the dramatic rock formations on a guided tour. Continue into Italy to the historic city of Trieste for a guided walking tour, followed by free time for a relaxed Italian lunch. In the afternoon, cross into Croatia's Istrian region and arrive in the charming village of Svetvinčenat, your base for the next three nights. Unwind with a presentation of local Istrian wines, followed by a memorable dinner set within the atmospheric Morosini-Grimani Castle.

Few days on this trip go deeper into local culture than this one. Begin with a visit to a hidden church in the village of Beram, home to the remarkable "Dance of Death" fresco — a rare and powerful artwork created during the time of the plague. Continue into the Istrian countryside for truffle hunting with the Karlić family, followed by a traditional lunch featuring freshly prepared truffle-based dishes. In the afternoon, visit the hilltop town of Motovun, a beautifully preserved walled city offering sweeping views across the surrounding landscape.
Coastal charm meets time on the water. Begin in Rovinj, one of Croatia's most beautiful seaside towns, known for its Venetian influence, colourful harbour, and winding cobblestone streets. From here, step aboard a private boat for an afternoon on the Adriatic — cruise along the coastline and out to nearby islands for swimming and lunch on board. As the day winds down, the boat brings you to the Lim Canal, where a memorable seafood dinner awaits featuring mussels, oysters, and lobster.
Approx. 30 miles / 4 hours on the water
The Dalmatian coast awaits. Arrive in Trogir, a beautifully preserved seaside town rich in history and character. Enjoy a guided walking tour through Trogir's UNESCO-listed Old Town, where narrow stone streets, medieval architecture, and waterfront views create a timeless atmosphere — a blend of Roman, Venetian, and Croatian influences. The remainder of the day is yours to wander the harbour, relax at a seaside café, or explore the town's hidden corners.
Today begins in Split, Croatia's vibrant coastal city. At its heart lies Diocletian's Palace, an extraordinary Roman complex that forms the foundation of the old town — explore this UNESCO-listed site as you walk through ancient streets, hidden courtyards, and lively squares where history and modern life seamlessly intertwine. Stroll along the Riva promenade, a lively waterfront lined with cafés and palm trees, before lunch in the city. In the afternoon, depart for your island getaway.
Nothing but open water, hidden caves, and the Adriatic at its finest. After breakfast, set out on a private boat charter to explore the island's most spectacular highlights. Visit the famous Blue Cave, known for its glowing light, and the Green Cave, where you'll have the opportunity to swim inside this unique natural formation. Discover hidden coves and Tito's WWII hideout, adding a layer of history to your coastal adventure. Return to shore in the late afternoon for a free evening.
Today takes you to Šibenik, a historic city rich in character and often considered a quieter alternative to Dubrovnik. Start at the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece constructed entirely from stone. From here, wander through the town's narrow, winding streets up to St. Michael's Fortress, where panoramic views stretch across the coastline and surrounding islands. Later, continue to Maškovića Han, your tranquil retreat for the final nights of the journey, for wine and dinner in this unique historic setting.
From waterfalls to wine — the penultimate day delivers both. Begin with a visit to Krka National Park, known for its stunning waterfalls, flowing rivers, and lush landscapes. In the afternoon, continue to the coastal city of Zadar for a guided walking tour through its historic centre, followed by free time to explore at your own pace — embracing the laid-back Croatian concept of fjaka. Visit a nearby coastal vineyard for a tasting experience before regrouping for a final group dinner.
After an unforgettable journey through Croatia, Slovenia and Italy, today marks your departure. Transfers will be arranged to Split Airport for your onward travel, allowing for a smooth and relaxed end to the trip.

Why Travel With Us
Every destination we visit has been personally handpicked. That means access to experiences, people and places most travellers never find — private vineyards, local families, hidden corners that simply aren't on the tourist map.
From the first hotel to the last dinner, quality is our benchmark — not an afterthought. Every accommodation, guide and experience is vetted to the same standard: exceptional. We don't cut corners so you don't have to worry.
We don't do tourist traps. We go where locals go — cooking in family kitchens, meeting artists in their studios, hunting truffles with the people who've done it for generations. You leave with a genuine understanding of where you've been.
A maximum of 8 guests means genuine personal attention and real friendships formed on the road. Travelling as women, with women, creates a dynamic that simply feels different — freer, more open, more memorable.

An expertly curated trip from start to finish."
"The experience was thoughtfully organized, seamless and filled with moments that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was more than just a vacation, it was a journey in every sense of the word."
"What sets Nik apart is the access. We had dinner in a family home, wine in a cellar that wasn't on any map, and views I've never seen in a guidebook. He genuinely knows these places — and the people in them. I'd book again without hesitation."
